Twas the night before due date, and all through the home
No baby had come yet, thus this silly poem.
The onesies were folded, in the nursery with care
In hopes that Addison soon would be there.
So Dad and I waited, Gigi and Chief too
With hopes of our dreams finally coming true.
We settled ourselves in, to watch the Games
To see if Shaun White could live up to his fame.
Hopefully by this time tomorrow,
Mom's heart will be filled, with joy and not sorrow.
And, at last, you will be in our arms
Surely already working your charm.
